Erosion
Although erosion and landslides are natural activities that occur in undisturbed as well as disturbed areas, human activities have accelerated the rate at which these processes happen. Natural systems, such as a salmon run, can't always keep up with the changes and need refuges from disturbance to maintain themselves.
